DANCE ATTIRE & Hair

Below are our suggestions. Please note that, for the fall session, BCDTA is not overly particular about shoe color.  Shoe color will likely become more of a concern for the Spring session as we prepare for the May production.

MT 1/Ballet 1:  Any color leotard or solid colored cami-style tank top.  Pink tights or fitted capri length black dance pants. Any pink ballet slipper. 

MT 1-2, 2, 2-3, 4, 4-5:  Any color leotard or solid colored cami-style tank top, capri length black dance pants.  Tan Jazz shoe. 

MT 3-4 and 5:  Any color leotard or solid colored cami-style tank top, capri length black dance pants.  Black Jazz shoe. 

*Ballet 3, 4, 5, 6:  Any color leotard.  Pink convertible tights.  Dance shorts and knit warm-ups are optional. Pink Ballet slippers--split sole recommended for levels 5 and 6.  

New Pointe students should NOT purchase Pointe shoes until instructor advises to do so.  Thank you. 

*Those students who are in attend both "Ballet" and "Musical Theater", should follow the suggested attire for "Ballet."
 

Hair neatly pulled back in ponytail or bun.  Fly-aways secured with bobbi pins or headband.
